BW-Drüsen sind nur für trockene Innenräume geeignet. Sie bieten mechanischen Halt und Erdungskontinuität für die Panzerung, aber keine Umweltabdichtung (IP30). CW-Drüsen sind für den Außenbereich oder feuchte Umgebungen geeignet, da sie eine Dichtung am Außenmantel des Kabels haben, die einen wetterfesten Schutz bietet (IP66/67).
A Einzeldichtung Die Ex-Verschraubung ist für die meisten Anwendungen in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen geeignet. A Doppelsiegel gland bietet ein höheres Maß an Sicherheit, indem es zusätzlich zur äußeren Abdichtung eine flammensichere Abdichtung an der inneren Umhüllung des Kabels schafft. Dies wird häufig für die kritischsten Anwendungen, Bereiche mit Hochdruckgas oder in Fällen, in denen die Projektspezifikationen einen maximalen Schutz gegen die Ausbreitung von Flammen erfordern, festgelegt.
Sie benötigen die wichtigsten Maße aus dem Datenblatt Ihres Kabels. Für eine CW- oder einfach abgedichtete Ex-Verschraubung benötigen Sie die Gesamtdurchmesser und die Panzerungsdraht-Durchmesser. Für eine doppelt dichtende Ex-Stopfbuchse benötigen Sie die Gesamtdurchmesserdie Durchmesser der inneren Bettungund die Panzerungsdraht-Durchmesser.
